Natural Habitat

Predatory; feeds on other household arthropods like bed bugs, earwigs, silverfish, and woodlice.
Behavior Patterns
The nymphs have a unique behavior of covering themselves in dust, lint, and debris as a form of camouflage (hence the name 'Masked Hunter'). They are stealthy predators that ambush their prey.
Risks & Benefits
Generally beneficial as they eat household pests. However, they can inflict a very painful (though not medically dangerous) bite if handled or threatened.
