Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding

Carnivorous; primarily hunts small insects and occasionally other spiders. Some species may eat nectar.

Behavior Patterns

Exhibits Batesian mimicry by resembling an ant to avoid predators; they often walk on their back six legs while waving their front pair to mimic antennae. They are active daytime hunters with excellent vision.

Risks & Benefits
