Bed Bug

Indoor environments, specifically within crevices of mattresses, bed frames, and upholstered furniture.

Obligate hematophages, primarily feeding on human blood but can feed on other warm-blooded animals.

Nocturnal parasites that hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Risks include itchy skin bites, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
