Behavior Patterns
The larva constructs a portable silken case incorporating fibers from its food source. It carries this case while feeding and eventually pupates inside it.
Risks & Benefits
Poses a significant risk to household property by damaging expensive clothing, carpets, and upholstery. They offer no direct benefit to humans and are considered a common domestic pest.
