Bed Bug

Primarily lives in human dwellings, nesting in cracks, crevices, bed frames, and mattresses.

Obligate blood feeders, primarily targeting humans but may bite other warm-blooded animals.

Nocturnal parasites that hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis with five nymphal stages.

Significant nuisance pest. Causes itchy welts and psychological distress. While not known to transmit diseases, heavy infestations can cause anemia.
