German Cockroach

Primarily indoor environments, preferring warm, humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Omnivorous scavenger; eats food scraps, grease, starch, glue, and even soap.

Nocturnal and highly social; they reproduce extremely quickly and are adept at hiding in narrow cracks and crevices during the day.

Significant pest risk; can spread pathogenic bacteria (like E. coli and Salmonella) and their shed skin/droppings are major triggers for asthma and allergies. They offer no notable benefits to indoor ecosystems.
