Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Larvae feed on natural fibers (wool, silk, leather, fur, feathers), pet hair, dead insects, lint, and some dried food products. Adults typically feed on pollen and nectar outdoors.
Behavior Patterns
Larvae are the damaging stage, often found in dark, undisturbed areas. Adults are attracted to light and may be found near windows. They undergo complete metamorphosis.
