Night-active and highly social; females carry an egg case called an ootheca until it is ready to hatch, leading to rapid population growth.
Risks & Benefits
Significant indoor pest that can trigger asthma and allergies; they can also spread pathogens on surfaces. No known ecological benefits in human structures.
