Natural Habitat
Prefers warm, humid environments, especially kitchens and bathrooms. Commonly found indoors in residential and commercial buildings.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivorous scavengers; eat almost anything, including food scraps, grease, soap, glue, and even other cockroaches.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal; hides in cracks and crevices during the day. Runs quickly when disturbed. Can infest homes and businesses, reproducing rapidly.
Risks & Benefits
Potential risks: Known carriers of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi) that can cause food poisoning, diarrhea, and other diseases. Can trigger allergies and asthma in sensitive individuals due to their droppings and shed skin.
