Drawn to high humidity and moisture. They possess a specialized jumping organ called a furcula that allows them to leap great distances when threatened.

Harmless to humans, pets, and structures. They do not bite or sting. Benefit the ecosystem by breaking down organic matter and cycling nutrients into the soil.
