Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal parasites that hide during the day. They have four life stages: egg, nymph (5 stages), and adult, requiring a blood meal to progress between each stage.
Risks & Benefits
Risks include secondary skin infections from scratching, allergic reactions, and psychological distress/insomnia. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
