Natural Habitat

Keratin-rich materials including wool, hair, fur, feathers, and occasionally synthetic blends containing natural fibers.
Behavior Patterns
Larvae construct a portable silken case incorporating fibers from their food source. They live inside this case as they feed and eventually pupate within it. They are typically photophobic (avoid light).
