Behavior Patterns
Adult females burrow into the stratum corneum of the skin to lay eggs. They are highly contagious and spread through direct skin-to-skin contact.
Risks & Benefits
Causes Scabies, leading to intense itching and skin rashes. While not a vector for other diseases, scratching can lead to secondary bacterial infections like impetigo or cellulitis.
