Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding

Carnivorous; primarily feeds on small insects like flies, moths, and other spiders. Some species also consume nectar.

Behavior Patterns

Diurnal hunters with excellent vision. They do not build webs to catch prey; instead, they stalk and pounce on targets using a hydraulic limb system. They use silk as a safety line before jumping.

Risks & Benefits

Highly beneficial as natural pest control. They are generally harmless to humans and reluctant to bite. Their venom is not medically significant to people.
