Booklouse

Damp, warm areas with high humidity, often found in stored books, pantry items, or under wallpaper.

Feeds on microscopic mold, fungi, starch, and organic debris.

Non-flying and fast-moving; they thrive in moist environments and can reproduce rapidly in favorable conditions.

Harmless to humans and pets, but can be a nuisance or indicate a moisture/mildew problem; occasionally damages silk or paper-based materials.
