Non-living tissue; does not eat

This is non-living biological debris shed from the outer layer of skin. It is stationary and does not exhibit behavior.

Generally harmless. It is a natural part of the skin renewal process. Excessive flaking can indicate dry skin, dandruff, or minor healing wounds (scabs).
