Dust Mite / Mold Mite

Damp environments with high humidity, often found in kitchens, pantries, or on organic material like wood and decaying plants.

Feeds primarily on fungi, mold spores, yeast, and high-fat or high-protein dry organic material.

Rapidly multiplies in humid conditions; they are often noticed as a fine white 'moving dust' on surfaces when populations explode.

Non-biting and harmless to structures, but can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals and contaminate stored food products.
