Natural Habitat

Behavior Patterns
Larvae are typically slow-moving and hide in dark, undisturbed places. They feed on natural fibers and can cause damage to textiles. The adult beetles are often attracted to light and feed on pollen and nectar outdoors.
Risks & Benefits
Risks: Can cause significant damage to household items made of natural fibers, including carpets, clothing, and upholstered furniture. They can also infest stored food products.
