Natural Habitat

Predatory; primarily feeds on whiteflies (all stages, including eggs and nymphs) and occasionally spider mites.
Behavior Patterns
Adults are highly mobile and actively seek out whitefly infestations to lay eggs. Larvae are also predatory and consume large quantities of prey. They are used extensively for biological pest control.
Risks & Benefits
Highly beneficial to the ecosystem and gardeners as a natural biological control agent for whitefly populations. They pose no risk to humans or pets.
