They multiply rapidly in humid conditions. They are often noticed when they form 'mite dust' on surfaces; they do not fly or jump but crawl slowly.
Risks & Benefits
They do not bite humans or pets but can cause allergic reactions, asthma, or contact dermatitis. In large numbers, they contaminate food sources, making them hazardous to consume.
