Bed Bug (Crushed)

Nests and shelters near host sleeping areas; commonly found in mattress seams, bed frames, and furniture crevices.

Obligate hematophagous; they feed exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals, primarily humans.

Nocturnal parasites that hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis with five nymphal stages.

Risks include itchy bites, allergic reactions, and psychological distress/insomnia. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans but are major domestic pests.
