Flea Larva

Found in dark, humid environments such as carpets, pet bedding, and upholstery.

Primarily feeds on organic debris, including skin flakes and adult flea feces ('flea dirt').

Larvae are photophobic and will move away from light. They undergo three molts before spinning a cocoon to pupate.

Risk: Indicates a flea infestation that can lead to bites and disease transmission. Benefit: None to humans or pets.
