They are active during the day and undergo complete metamorphosis (egg, larva, pupa, adult). They often aggregate in large numbers to overwinter.
Risks & Benefits
Highly beneficial to the ecosystem and farmers as a biological pest control agent against aphids, mites, and insect eggs. They pose no risk to humans.
