Behavior Patterns

Eggs are laid in organized rows or clusters. Upon hatching, the first-instar nymphs remain huddle around the egg mass for several days before dispersing to feed.

An invasive agricultural pest that damages crops and garden plants. They do not bite or sting humans but can become a nuisance when they enter homes to overwinter, releasing a foul odor if crushed.
