Natural Habitat
Damp, dark places with high humidity, such as basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and attics.
Diet & Feeding
Polysaccharides, especially starches and dextrin found in adhesives, paper, book bindings, wallpaper, and clothing. They also consume sugar, flour, and organic debris.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and fast-moving insects that avoid light. They undergo simple metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult) and are known for their fish-like wiggling motion when running.
