Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and relatively slow-moving compared to other roaches. Unlike German cockroaches, they are not adept climbers of smooth vertical surfaces and prefer to stay at ground level.
Risks & Benefits
Risks include the spread of bacteria (like E. coli and Salmonella) and allergens that can trigger asthma. They do not provide significant benefits in indoor environments and are considered a major pest.
