Behavior Patterns
They are wingless, soft-bodied insects that prefer darkness. They reproduce rapidly in humid conditions through parthenogenesis (females producing clones).
Risks & Benefits
They do not bite humans or pets and are not known to transmit diseases; however, they can be a nuisance and may damage starchy materials or indicate a moisture problem in the home.
