Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and elusive. They hide during the day in tight spaces and emerge at night to feed. They leave behind these dark, ink-like fecal spots of digested blood on bedding or surrounding surfaces.
Risks & Benefits
Risks include itchy allergic reactions to bites, sleep deprivation, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans but are significant household pests.
