Natural Habitat
Found primarily in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of North Africa, often in tropical and subtropical grasslands and savannahs.

Herbivorous; it feeds on the internal juices of various host plants such as cotton, sunflowers, and hibiscus through piercing-sucking mouthparts.
Behavior Patterns
Known for its strikingly ornate aposematic coloration, which warns predators of its bad taste. They are shield-backed bugs that undergo incomplete metamorphosis and can release a pungent odor when threatened.
