Mainly nocturnal, emerging at night to feed. They undergo cinq nymphal stages, each requiring a blood meal to molt. They are known for their ability to hitchhike on luggage and clothing.
Risks & Benefits
Risks include itchy skin rashes, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. While they do not transmit diseases, their presence is a significant nuisance. No known ecosystem benefits.
