Indoor environments, specifically cracks and crevices around beds, mattresses, box springs, furniture upholstery, and wall voids near sleeping areas.
Diet & Feeding
Hematophagous (feeds exclusively on blood), primarily preferring human blood but will feed on other warm-blooded animals if necessary.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and elusive, emerging at night to feed on sleeping hosts. They aggregate in hidden crevices (harborages) during the day. Known for 'hitchhiking' on luggage and clothing to spread.
