Natural Habitat

Behavior Patterns
Known for their ability to jump using a tail-like structure called a furcula. They appear on the snow on sunny winter days to forage and mate. They contain a glycine-rich protein that acts as an antifreeze, allowing them to remain active in freezing temperatures.
