Behavior Patterns

Notable for its highly variable spotting patterns and colors. They exhibit reflexive bleeding (exuding a yellow, foul-smelling fluid) when threatened and are known for mass-aggregating on the sunlit sides of buildings.

Risks & Benefits

Benefits the ecosystem by controlling aphid populations. However, they are considered a nuisance pest when they enter homes, can cause minor allergic reactions in some humans, and may occasionally nip at skin.
