Masked Hunter (nymph stage)

Found indoors in homes and outbuildings, as well as outdoors in protected, dry areas.

Carnivorous. They feed on various household arthropods including bed bugs, carpet beetles, spiders, and other small insects.

The nymph stage is known for its camouflage behavior, coating its body in dust, lint, and debris to blend into its surroundings.

Benefits include acting as a natural predator for household pests. Risk is that they can deliver a painful bite in self-defense if handled or accidentally compressed against human skin.
