Bed Bug

Dwellings with human occupants, typically found in mattresses, furniture, or wall crevices near sleeping areas.

Obligate blood-feeders, primarily consuming human blood during the night.

Nocturnal and elusive; they hide in dark crevices during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Cause itchy red welts, psychological distress, and allergic reactions; not known to transmit diseases but are difficult to eradicate.
