Bed Bug

Human dwellings, specifically cracks and crevices in beds, furniture, and walls.

Obligate hematophages, primarily feeding on human blood.

Nocturnal, hiding during the day and emerging at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Risks include itchy bites, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
