Natural Habitat

Predatory insect hunter feeding on bed bugs, booklice, carpet beetles, and other small household arthropods.
Behavior Patterns
Nymphs cover their bodies with dust, lint, and sand to camouflage themselves from predators and prey. They move slowly and wait to ambush prey using piercing-sucking mouthparts.
Risks & Benefits
Highly beneficial as natural pest control for indoor pests like bed bugs; however, if handled roughly, they can inflict a very painful (though non-toxic) bite to humans in self-defense.
