Case-bearing Clothes Moth larva

Commonly found inside homes, specifically in closets, bedrooms, and storage areas containing natural fibers.

Keratin-rich materials such as wool, fur, feathers, hair, silk, and occasionally leather or soiled synthetic fabrics.

The larva constructs a portable silken case camouflaged with fibers from its food source. They are reclusive and often feed in dark, undisturbed areas.

A significant household pest that causes physical damage to clothing, carpets, and upholstery; they provide no significant benefits to human environments.
