A three-host tick that can complete its entire life cycle indoors. They crawl upward into cracks and crevices of ceilings and walls to lay eggs.
Risks & Benefits
Risks: Can transmit several pathogens to dogs (such as ehrlichiosis and babesiosis) and occasionally to humans (Rocky Mountain spotted fever). No known benefits.
