Elm Leaf Beetle
Scientific Name: Xanthogaleruca luteola
Order & Family: Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae
Size: 6–8 mm (approximately 1/4 inch) in length

Natural Habitat
Found primarily on or near Elm trees; often enters buildings and homes during late summer or fall to seek shelter for overwintering.
Diet & Feeding
Both larvae and adults feed exclusively on the leaves of elm trees (Ulmus species), skeletonizing the foliage.
