Brown-banded cockroach nymph (likely)

Warm, dry indoor areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets, and appliances; it often hides in cracks and behind furniture.

Omnivorous scavenger feeding on crumbs, starches, grease, dead insects, paper, and other organic debris.

Primarily nocturnal, fast-moving, and secretive; it hides during daylight and can reproduce indoors year-round. Brown-banded cockroaches commonly climb walls and furniture and may disperse through buildings.

Not dangerous by biting or stinging, but infestations can contaminate food and surfaces and spread allergens that aggravate asthma. It has little meaningful ecological benefit indoors.
