Behavior Patterns
Adults are primarily nocturnal and are attracted to light. They rest with their wings folded flat over their backs. The life cycle is highly variable depending on temperature and humidity, sometimes taking up to a year to complete.

Considered a domestic pest due to larvae damaging clothing, carpets, and stored kitchen goods. They do not pose a direct health risk to humans but can cause significant property damage.
