Natural Habitat
Found on the underside of foliage, particularly on plants in the Convolvulaceae family (Morning Glories, Sweet Potato vines).
Diet & Feeding
Herbivorous; both adults and larvae feed on the leaves of host plants, creating small circular holes.
Behavior Patterns
Notable for their ability to change color from brilliant metallic gold to reddish-brown when disturbed. They have a transparent, shield-like carapace over their body.
