Natural Habitat
Widely distributed on plants, flowers, and in garden soil; they often enter homes through windows or by hitching a ride on clothing and indoor plants.
Diet & Feeding
Most species feed by puncturing plants and sucking out the contents (sap and chlorophyll), though some are predatory and eat mites or other small insects.
Behavior Patterns
They are known for their ability to swarm, particularly in warm, humid weather. They have fringed wings and can be found in large numbers on light-colored surfaces or flowers.
