Cockroach nymph (likely German cockroach)

Warm, humid indoor areas—especially kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets, and locations near food, water, or appliances.

Omnivorous scavengers that consume crumbs, starches, grease, sweets, pet food, and occasionally paper or organic residues.

Mostly nocturnal, fast-running, and strongly attracted to shelter and moisture. Females carry egg cases until hatching; nymphs molt several times before adulthood.

Can contaminate food and surfaces and carry allergens associated with asthma and dermatitis. They provide little household benefit, though they contribute to decomposition outdoors.
