Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding

Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and slow-moving. Their rounded, shiny abdomens and long legs make them resemble small spiders. They thrive in temperate regions and can tolerate low temperatures.
Risks & Benefits
Primarily a nuisance pest that can contaminate stored food products. They do not bite or sting humans and pose no direct health risk, but they can damage wool or museum specimens if left unchecked.
