Small cockroach nymph (likely German cockroach)

Warm, humid indoor areas, especially kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, and plumbing voids. This individual appears to be on household equipment.

Omnivorous scavengers consuming crumbs, grease, starches, organic debris, and occasionally materials such as glue or soap.

Mostly nocturnal, fast-moving, and inclined to hide in narrow cracks during daylight. Females carry egg cases, and infestations can develop rapidly indoors.

Can contaminate food and surfaces and shed allergens that may worsen asthma. They provide little household benefit, though they recycle organic matter outdoors.
