Bed bug (likely nymph)

Mattresses, bed frames, upholstered furniture, cracks, and other sheltered indoor locations near sleeping areas.

Feeds exclusively on blood, primarily from humans, using piercing-sucking mouthparts. It usually feeds at night.

Flightless, nocturnal, and concealed during daylight; adults and nymphs may survive months without feeding. Females lay small eggs in protected crevices.

Bites can cause itching, irritation, and allergic reactions, though bed bugs are not proven significant disease transmitters. They provide little ecological benefit indoors.
