Behavior Patterns

Mainly nocturnal; they hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis with five nymphal stages.

Risks & Benefits

Risks include skin rashes, psychological effects, and allergic reactions to bites. They are not known to transmit diseases but are significant household pests.
