Bed Bug

Typically found in cracks and crevices in human dwellings, such as bed frames, mattresses, and furniture.

Hematophagous; primarily feeds on human blood, but will feed on other warm-blooded animals.

Mainly nocturnal; they hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis with five nymphal stages.

Risks include skin rashes, psychological effects, and allergic reactions to bites. They are not known to transmit diseases but are significant household pests.
