Cockroach nymph (likely wood cockroach)

Wood cockroaches live outdoors in leaf litter, rotting wood, logs, and beneath bark. They may wander indoors, especially around lights or through open doors and windows.

Omnivorous scavengers that feed mainly on decaying leaves, wood, fungi, and organic debris, occasionally consuming other food residues.

Mostly nocturnal and active in warm, humid conditions; males are often attracted to lights. They generally reproduce outdoors and do not establish large indoor infestations.

Wood cockroaches are not important household pests and are not known for significant disease transmission. They recycle organic matter, though any cockroach can mechanically carry microbes and may trigger allergies.
